The Nation Institute, in conjunction with The Nation magazine, provides an internship program for college students and recent graduates interested in magazine journalism and publishing. Our internship program offers seven editorial internship positions in New York City; these interns’ primary responsibilities are fact checking and research. Two additional interns work as web editorial interns. One additional editorial internship position is available in The Nation’s Washington D.C. office.

The internship is full time, five days a week. The Summer 2012 session begins June 5 and ends August 17, and the deadline for postmarked applications is March 1. There is a $150/week stipend.
