XO Group Inc. seeks an enthusiastic candidate for a full time Photo
Coordinator position located at our downtown NYC headquarters.
Responsibilities include:
-Daily photo research projects for web and print stories
-Ability to pitch story ideas and efficiently execute them
-Interacting with photographers to obtain high resolution image files and
releases
-Keeping consistency of photo library and organizational standards
-Curate our photo content and ensure all photos are perfect quality
-Working with syndicated web partners to deliver branded content
-An interest in culture and weddings with a good eye for style
-Computer savvy – must be keen to current social media and image-based
websites
-Proficient knowledge of Photoshop, Excel, and InCopy/InDesign
-Excellent organizational skills are a must
-Ability to recognize high resolution files, color balance, and proper web
optimization
-Knowledge of HTML a plus
