Manhattan magazine is looking for a dynamic Senior Editor for Beach, a
lifestyle publication launching in the Hamptons in May. Responsibilities
will include producing runlists and overseeing budgets, assigning copy,
managing copy flow, packaging stories and working collaboratively with the
EIC, the executive editor and art and photo on each story. The Senior
Editor will also research and write copy for FOB and BOB pages.
The ideal candidate has exceptional top editing and writing skills and
a strong work ethic. The Editor should also have an affinity for all things
art, culture, design and fashion.
Requirements:
-5 years of experience at a lifestyle magazine; knowledge of the Hamptons
market a plus
-Excellent top editing and writing skills
-A team player and a resourceful problem solver who shines in a fast-paced
environment
-Proficient in InDesign
