Description:
Tiger Beat and BOP seek a talented, driven and highly organized
professional for an entry-level editorial assistant position. You will be
in control of running the office’s day-to-day admin duties (including
phones, supplies, mail, contests). You will also be responsible for
light-to-moderate editorial content for the magazines. Organization,
self-motivation and the ability to multitask are musts. The ideal candidate
will possess excellent communication skills and a knack for engaging a
tween audience — most importantly with funny, quirky, clever and creative
ideas. Some magazine experience or a degree in a
journalism/communications-related field is preferred. Top candidates will
be given a writing test.
