Working Mother magazine has an excellent opportunity for a few smart, talented and on-the-ball editorial interns. Duties include working closely with editors, reporting, researching, sniffing out story leads, fact checking, working on special projects and some administrative assistance.
We’re a small staff so you’ll get the chance to really be part of the team. You’ll get to come sit in on our check-in and ideas meetings and even pitch ideas for upcoming issues. Previous interns have walked away with clips (both in-book and online) for their portfolio. We’re looking for interns that work well individually and in a team setting.
Position starts early January, depending upon your availability. Schedule is flexible, but we prefer at least 2-3 days/week. Position is unpaid and for school credit, but we’ll make sure you get great experience!
