Parenting magazine is looking for Spring 2013 interns in our NYC office. This is a great opportunity to work on all sections of Parenting Early Years and Parenting School Years magazines, get to know a variety of editors, acquire print and online clips, and get administrative office experience.
Some duties include: writing short front or back of book pieces for the magazine, blogging for Parenting.com’s Show & Tell blog, calling in and returning products, requesting images, doing research for various stories, opening and organizing mail, transcribing interviews, etc.
Must have proven interest in journalism and willingness to learn, and be available a minimum of 3 days per week. This internship is unpaid and college credit is required.
