Looking for an enthusiastic and organized intern to help the department
achieve deadlines and be more efficient.
Responsibilities include:
- Assist the editorial team with:
- Write daily blog copy
- Create and schedule smartphone app content
- Tag and edit recipes for web site
- Create social media content (Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, etc.)
- Edit nutrition information
- Answer reader e-mails
- Assemble information for daily e-mail newsletter
- Other duties as assigned
Ideal intern skills/area of study:
- Journalism student with an interest in food
- Great organizational skills
- Attention to detail
- High degree of professionalism
Interns should be available to work 2 or more days a week in our NYC
office. We are willing to work around a school schedule and start and end
dates are flexible. Candidates MUST be able to receive school credit. MSLO
will pay a $20/day stipend.
