Fitness reporters will be responsible for steering coverage related to providing news and tips for readers when it comes to the latest and greatest of exercise and being fit. Reporters should be thoughtful and creative when it comes to finding new, exciting angles to make exercise fun instead of a chore for readers. The ideal candidate will have a passion for health and being active with the ability to keep in mind that different people have different body types and different attitudes toward exercise. The ideal candidate will have had experience in a professional newsroom in an internship or job capacity as well as editing other people’s work
