Glamour Editorial Internship

Job/Internship type:
Full-time
Company/Publication Name:
Glamour Magazine
Location:
New York City
Description:

Glamour magazine is seeking college juniors or seniors for a highly-regarded editorial internship. These skilled, motivated interns assist news, health and entertainment editors with story research, reporting, transcribing, and doing some administrative tasks. Interns are encouraged to pitch story ideas, and there is potential to write for the magazine or glamour.com.
This is a fast-paced internship that requires top-notch time-management and journalistic skills (being a great researcher is key!)—but it’s also tons of fun and a fantastic learning experience. Candidates should have had a previous internship at a magazine or other professional publication, be serious and knowledgeable about topics relevant to women’s health/pop culture/current events.
Interns MUST be enrolled as an undergraduate in college and be able to receive school credit, and an availability of at least three days a week is preferred. The internship will begin in January and go through May or June. Conde Nast provides an intern stipend. (Note this is not a fashion, beauty, or web internship—those departments hire separately).
