The EBONY Magazine Style Department in NYC is seeking both fashion and beauty interns for the Spring 2013 semester starting in the beginning of January and commit until May. Candidates MUST be enrolled in school, available 2-3 full days per week and receive school credit. Those with previous magazine experience are preferred.
Duties will include:
- Organizing the fashion & beauty closets
- Checking-in and returning samples
- Packing and unpacking for photo shoots
- Assisting with story and photo research
- General administrative and organizational duties
- Assisting with fact-checking and credits for stories
- RSVPing for events including NYFW, market previews and beauty launch events
- Contributing to weekly intern blog for Ebony.com
