Weight Watchers Magazine, part of the Weight Watchers Publishing division in New York, NY, is looking for a part-time paid editorial intern (at least 2 full days a week) to start immediately and work the remainder of the winter semester, with the option to stay through the spring semester.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Researching and possibly reporting articles on topics including weight-loss, health and fitness; keeping track of the latest scientific developments related to weight loss and related health conditions; calling in and returning products; assisting staff with ongoing editorial projects; administrative duties. An interest in weight-loss, health, nutrition or fitness is preferred. We are a small staff, so the internship is very hands-on.
REQUIREMENTS: This is a paid internship and candidates do not need to receive credit. However, candidates must be enrolled in an accredited college, university, or graduate program or have graduated within the last 12 months.
