Seventeen Magazine is looking for a Photo Intern for the Spring semester. Intern responsibilities include photo research, location scouting, propping for shoots, helping on set, communicating with vendors, and assisting the editors in the photo department.
Interns should be responsible, have a strong work ethic, be able to work independently, and be incredibly detail oriented. They should be comfortable and effective communicating over the phone, in person, and via e-mail. We’re looking for interns who think outside the box and don’t need hand holding! Prior office and magazine experience is a plus. Photography/Journalism majors preferred.
Candidates must be in the NYC area, enthusiastic, proactive, able to receive school credit and available 3 or more days per week. Internship begins in January and runs through May.
