SCENE in NY magazine, a Manhattan luxury lifestyle publication launched in March 2012, is seeking a highly motivated full-time Assistant Editor/Associate Editor. Applicants should be detail-oriented with an interest and understanding of high society, culture, events, and the who’s who of Manhattan’s elite. Responsibilities also include, but are not limited to, writing, copyediting, researching, collecting credit information, photo research, conducting interviews, etc. The ideal person would be a team player, wear many hats and willing to put all hands on deck, as we are a very small staff. Candidates should be able to thrive in a fast-paced start-up environment. He or she needs to be creative, highly organized and a great communicator.
