Oprah.com is seeking a hard-working, web-savvy and enthusiastic intern to join our staff for the upcoming spring semester. Candidates must be available 2 days per week. Duties will include photo research, production, research for stories, market work social media, and writing promotional copy. There may be opportunities to pitch and write original content. Applicants should be comfortable in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment. They should be diligent managers of their own time and not afraid to ask questions. A passion for journalism and for women’s magazines in particular, as well as enthusiasm about exploring the many creative opportunities involved in web journalism, are essential. Writing experience and strong research skills are a must. Web experience is a plus, but not necessary.
