We’re looking for a passionate writer-editor with an appreciation for the aesthetic of our Houston lifestyle magazine and for the magazine-making process. The right candidate will have a finger on the pulse of our key topics of art, culture, music, dining, nightlife, fashion, shopping, beauty, interior design, architecture, regional travel and society. Other subjects of interest may include sports and real estate. Please be a strong idea person who thinks creatively about how to develop and package content, and who thrives on collaboration. Organizational skills—and an ability not only to meet deadlines but also to see to it that others do—are important. As a writer, be strong on the basics and crisp, but have a fun flourish; as an editor, be able to steer writers in the same direction and shape straightforward yet sparkling copy. Title and salary commensurate with experience.
