All interns must have a love for pop culture! GlobalGrind is the new American mainstream mixing pop and hip-hop, we are Hip-Pop! Founded and run by Russell Simmons, we offer TONS of hands-on experience.
GlobalGrind relies heavily on interns for fresh ideas and daily blog posts. Treated as full time employees, interns attend daily editorial meetings and are encouraged to share their unique ideas.
With an interest in entertainment, music, style and/or politics, interns will work with editors daily to conceptualize and execute stories.
Self-motivated, detail oriented and internet savvy, interns attend industry events and interview celebrities regularly.
Experience with Drupal is a plus but we train all interns whether you are familiar with the system or not.
Undergrad or grad students studying Journalism, Media, or related are preferred.
Must be available to work 2-3 days a week from 8:30-5:30
