The quarterly magazine, website and associated events are the result of a joint venture between Harris Publications (XXL, Rides, Juicy) and H360, Harris’ digital ad network and experiential marketing arm.
The magazine seeks a hard-working, enthusiastic local college student for a credit-only internship in the New York office. Elektro’s brand marketing internship is perfect for anyone interested in entertainment, media and publishing. The role will cross over into all facets of the Elektro business, from sales and marketing to editorial to social media. The ideal candidate will have a course of study in business/marketing, communications or advertising, but this is not a requirement. Interest and background in branding, research, events, social media and some design is a plus.
Strong communication skills. Projects vary from copy-editing to presentation creation to event coordination. Some support over the phone is required. A positive and professional attitude and passion for electronic dance music and culture.
