Cosmopolitan magazine is looking for interns to work in the Books Department for the Spring semester (January-May). Responsibilities include cataloging all of the books received, building relationships with major publishing houses, pitching books for web and print coverage, helping to find sources and experts, and assisting the editors with various research projects.
Applicants should have excellent communication and organization skills, the ability to multitask and a great attitude. Must love books! The ideal candidate is a Journalism or English major with prior internship or college publication experience, but our internships are open to anyone with a passion for magazines.
Interns must be able to work at least two full days a week and receive college credit.
