TheCelebrityCafe.com offers a 12-week internship that will enable journalism students to practice their classroom learning in a real-world environment, and showcase their talents on the longest-running entertainment magazine on the Internet.
Interns will undergo on-the-job training to provide a working knowledge of online publishing. This includes: multimedia publishing, writing engaging content for an online audience, optimizing text and headlines for search engines, and publishing on the Internet in a timely manner.
Interns will write on current events in the entertainment industry. After a few weeks of honing newly acquired skills, writers will be assigned music and film reviews and television recaps. Writers who consistently produce at a high-quality level may be offered a column and assigned to work on exclusive celebrity interviews.
This is an unpaid, work-from-home program.
