Time Out New York is looking for an editorial intern to start immediately for the features department. As an editorial intern, you must be dedicated, knowledgeable, and able to commit to working Thursdays and Fridays through at least mid-May. (Please do not apply if you’re unable to come in those specific days.)
Interns at TONY can expect to have the following duties:
º Fact check for section editors
º Conduct Internet research for section editors
º Update listings for section editors
º Copy & file freelance invoices, expense sheets and check request forms
º Return merchandise and props to vendors
º Establish relationships with editors in sections of interest (generate intern-specific tasks)
º Transcribe interviews
º Produce occasional writing
º Cover reception area during receptionist lunch or dinner break
Please note: This is a for-credit internship only, and you must provide documentation from your school verifying that you’ll receive credit.
