DOWNTOWN Magazine is currently seeking design interns for the upcoming Spring 2012 season. We are offering unpaid positions in our Lower Manhattan offices. School credit will be available. DOWNTOWN is a young and upcoming magazine covering culture, fashion, arts & entertainment, food and business in Lower Manhattan.
For our design department, we’re looking for interns who can assist with page layout, advertising design and basic photo editing. There will be opportunities to have your work published in the magazine. An ideal intern will have a working knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite 5, particularly Indesign and Photoshop, be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and motivated and willing to learn and grow. Candidates should be able to provide own computer.
