Description:
This is a demanding and rewarding full-time, paid internship at AARP The Magazine, the largest-circulation magazine in the world.
The intern should have working knowledge of the publications editorial process and will write display copy and short items. The intern will also organize reader responses, research article ideas, write summary reports, and aid editors in other projects as needed.
Successful candidates will have excellent writing and organizational skills, poise, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic.
Juniors, seniors, or graduate students in English, communications, journalism or multimedia preferred. Writing samples required. This full-time position runs throughout the summer 2012 term.
