If you love to leave feedback on local area websites (ie Citysearch, Yelp ) why not get paid for sharing what you know? Citypath.com—a website that helps New Yorkers get the best out of city living—is seeking freelancer editors to help create a database of descriptions for attractions, venues and points of interest in NYC. These are not reviews, but a series of “snapshots” that provided basic details about a particular locale (e.g. a restaurant, bar, gym, store).
Candidates should have a strong knowledge of Excel and can quickly summarize information based on a merchant’s website. Payment: $12 to $15 per hour, depending upon speed and accuracy. It’s remote (within NYC)—but I’m happy to do in-office tutorials for employees who’d prefer more face time.
