Award-winning women’s lifestyle site BettyConfidential.com is looking for 2-3 super smart editorial interns to support our senior editorial team this fall. We are looking for help in the following departments: Style+Beauty, Celebrity, Love+Sex, as well as an all-around intern interested in the broad spectrum of women’s issues (from health to parenting to, yes, Brad and Angie). Candidates should be enthusiastic, detail-oriented, organized, and adaptable to fast-moving situations. Candidates should be able to write under tight deadlines and be comfortable with all aspects of social media. We’re primarily looking for bright, talented self-starters who want to make a real contribution to the website and learn a LOT along the way.
Our summer interns are kicking butt and we’re hoping to find an equally amazing group for Fall!
Duties will include:
· Researching style, beauty, celebrity and relationship news
· Researching photos, experts, celebs and gathering product info
· Pitching and writing articles
· Reaching out to bloggers and websites via Twitter and Facebook
· Updating social media feeds
· Attending and reporting on industry events.
The internship will last 4 months (Sept - Dec) and is unpaid. We are happy to work with you for college credit. We are a totally virtual office so you will be working from home, with weekly meetings in NYC.
