American Baby magazine is looking for a fall art intern to start immediately. We are a national, subscription based magazine. The size of the magazine gives great opportunity to work on a lot of different projects and take on real responsibility. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic and organized and has an interest in magazine publishing. You will need to be able to work at least two days a week and receive college credit for the internship, the internship is not paid. The intern will assist both the art and photo departments with tasks and administrative duties such as as copying, paperwork, photo research, keeping the layout binder current, and some design based on experience. Previous magazine or internship experience is a plus and InDesign knowledge is strongly suggested.
