Zagat Survey is looking for a part-time Editorial Web Intern. The intern will handle many duties vital to the production of Zagat’s online content such as fact-checking, helping with homepage updates and blog posts, research, and photo finding. The intern will work closely with staff
editors and participate in editorial meetings.
The ideal applicant should be a motivated self-starter, with a strong interest in food. A keen eye for details and excellent research skills are musts. The position is unpaid, with academic credit available.
Requirements:
• Strong research skills
• Prior experience in web media a plus
• Working toward a degree in Journalism, Communication,or English
• Outstanding communication skills
• Flexible, articulate, organized and detail-oriented
• Solid computer skills preferred: MS Office, Wordpress, Dreamweaver,
Photoshop
