Description:
Primary responsibility is conducting the fact checking and related
research required for all stories. Additionally, the Fact-Checker/Reporter
will be tasked with original writing and reporting assignments by the
editors, and will provide general editorial support to the editorial
department as needed. Applicants must possess at least a bachelor’s
degree, meticulous organizational and research skills (a sharp, critical
eye for detail is essential), a demonstrated ability to write well, the
capacity to multitask and prioritize appropriately under pressure (often
with conflicting deadlines), and a pleasant, professional demeanor and
telephone manner.
