Redbook Magazine is looking for design interns for the Fall semester of
2010 in New York City. Candidates should be eager to learn about how the
design department of a national magazine runs. The responsibilities include
research, maintaining wall of printed layouts, and general administrative
duties such as organizing reference material, photocopying inspiration
material and occasional assistance of the Creative Director. Design work
will be assigned based on ability. The candidate should be resourceful,
responsible, able to learn quickly and familiar with Adobe CS3. A sense of
humor is also appreciated. You must be able to receive college credit and
work 2-5 days a week from 10-6pm starting after Labor day and continuing
until the end of the semester. This is unpaid.
