The Nest, the lifestyle magazine from the publishers of The Knot, is
looking for a fall-semester intern. Your duties will run the gamut, from
liasing with our online community, to doing research for stories, to
building on thenest.com, to gathering photos, to organizing and doing some
clerical work.
You must be a strong writer and multitasker, reliable, organized, and not
afraid to ask questions. You should also be proficient in MS Office Suite
and have some knowledge of InDesign and CMS (preferably Sitecore). An
interest in lifestyle subjects such as decor, cooking, money, and/or real
estate is helpful. Journalism, English, or communications majors preferred.
Must be able to receive course credit. Small stipend provided.
You will need to be available at least two full days a week (preferably
three) from Sept to sometime in December.
