MM33.org is looking for highly creative, ideas-oriented, pro-active fashion editors and writers with the following passions and knowledge: high fashion design, couture, indie fashion designers, beauty, fashion photography, fashion magazine publishing, and interest in the fashion, culture + art scenes of Paris, New York, London, Milan and Los Angeles. You must be proficient with the usual online and print writing & editing skills, but also in uploading content and images, editing online, and able to work remotely. We currently use Squarespace, Tumblr, and Ning for our backend. Fluency in foreign languages (French, Spanish, Italian) and previous fashion magazine experience a plus plus. Responsibilities include: pitching ideas for our online magazine MODAMORPHOS, creating an editorial/ideas calendar with a 4 week lead time for stories, recruiting freelance writers, contributing editors, writing, refining and light copyediting of stories. This position is via remote-login and freelance, payable in a monthly or bi-weekly retainer.
