College Magazine is seeking an undergraduate student pursing a degree in English, Journalism or Communication for a Web Editor position. This position involves editing, copyediting and fact-checking daily articles for collegemagazine.com, overseeing a team of student writers, posting and formatting articles online and communicating with the editorial and publicity teams. Additionally editors are involved with celebrity interviews are responsible for writing at least two articles a semester. Editors experience the ins-and-outs of what it takes to create a magazine and are expected to contribute fresh ideas for creating quality content. The position is ten hours per week and interns may receive course credit. The headquarters are in College Park, MD, but most of the work can be done online and by phone so this is open to students nationwide.
