American Salon Magazine Editorial Internship

American Salon, a monthly trade magazine for the professional beauty
industry
published by Questex Media, is looking for a full-time editorial intern
for
the fall who is interested in the beauty industry. We are a small staff,
so interns at American Salon participate in nearly every aspect of the
editorial process. Duties include lots of writing for both the magazine
and our blog, proofreading, fact checking, working with public relations
representatives, and attending occasional industry events. Journalism or
English major preferred. The internship is located in New York City and
starts September 28 running through December 17, depending on the
candidate’s availability. There is a small stipend available for this
position.
