Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree in a relevant area such as journalism, or liberal arts.
Requirements:
*clips of past editorial work
*acute writing skills as well as experience editing other writers
*knowledge of emerging talent in the industry (designers, writers, artists, etc.)
*good organizational skills
*ability to generate several story ideas: daily and weekly. We like to work in advance.
*the ability to meet deadlines
*experience with web based cms programs such as wordpress and other web technologies is a must.
*desire to work at a start up company where creativity is welcomed but hard work is expected
*passion for daily journalism
*interest in music, arts and culture
Prior experience working and writing at a media website is a plus.
