Interns will work on the following projects: Requesting images for editorial, cataloguing new books entering the magazine’s research library, organizing and maintaining the books in the collection, and assisting in the proofreading process for editorial articles and columns when necessary. This internship will provide educational opportunities combined with experience of working with knowledgeable editors in a professional publishing environment. Candidates should possess strong organizational skills and have an interest in design, art history, and publishing.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: ART HISTORY/ENGLISH AND JOURNALISM STUDENTS PREFERRED. PROFICIENCY IN A FOREIGN LANGUAGE, ESPECIALLY FRENCH, IS ALSO A PLUS. Only senior undergraduates will be considered. Graduate students preferred. This internship may qualify for academic credit. Please check with your school.

SALARY: THIS IS A NON PAYING INTERNSHIP.
We offer a stipend covering the cost of traveling to and from our offices by subway.

HOURS: MUST BE AVAILABLE 2-3 DAYS A WEEK.
We are aware of educational demands and remain receptive and flexible when working out schedules.
