Leading US publisher of custom print and web content is seeking a full-time Content Director residing near Sacramento, CA.
This new position will help establish and implement content strategies for travel publications, websites, email marketing programs, social media channels and other marketing initiatives.
Duties include concepting and creating content; scheduling/executing edit plans in collaboration with offsite team; interacting with clients; hiring/assigning/editing and fact-checking freelance contributors. We require a college degree plus 5+ years experience in magazine journalism, new/online media, mobile or PR/marketing. Please describe your experience with content management systems, website development and SEM/SEO, blogging, and use of social media and networking, email marketing and mobile.
