Inc. is looking for an editorial intern to work in its downtown Manhattan office. Applicants should have an interest in covering business and a capacity for hard work on deadline. They should have experience reporting, writing, and fact-checking for their college newspapers, in previous internships, or at other publications, and be able to handle a schedule that includes some late nights. They should follow current events, be sticklers for accuracy, and have a can-do attitude.
The internship will involve some research, writing, and fact-checking for the print magazine, as well as pitching story ideas and reporting on them for Inc.com . They will receive practical experience in the general workings of a national magazine, as well as its website.
Preference will be given to candidates with a background in social media. This is a full-time, paid position that doesn’t include coffee runs or picking up dry cleaning.
