We are seeking an experienced, part-time associate editor/copy editor for
our established national publishing group, Wine Enthusiast Media for the
next four months. This includes our print magazine, published 13 times
yearly, and our accompanying and newly re-launched site, WineMag.com, as
well as events and promotional and marketing projects.
The ideal candidate will have 4-6 years of experience as a writer,
fact-checker, proofreader and copy editor in addition to strong Web and CMS
skills and a solid, engaged understanding of online media and trends.
Rigorous attention to detail is necessary.
Knowledge of the food, wine and spirits industry is a plus. The candidate
should be passionate and eager to evolve his/her education on these topics.
On-site required. Mt. Kisco location.
This is a 20 - 25 hour per week - four month assignment with the potential
for extension or hiring.
