UrbanDaddy is looking for all star interns to join our NY office. As an
editorial intern at UrbanDaddy, you will get to be a part of the inner
workings of a daily internet publication. You will get to see how stories
develop at every stage, from pitches and research to writing, editing and
publishing. You will get to participate in calendaring sessions, editorial
and creative meetings, go on local scouting and information gathering
assignments. You will learn how to copyedit and fact check. You will get to
interact with PR firms as a media representative. If your writing is strong
enough, you may get to write some stories. You may also get to attend press
parties and opening events for restaurants and clubs, and really get a view
of the inner workings of the New York scene and how media fits into it all.
