Description:
Geekosystem, the NYC-based geek culture site from Abrams Media, is looking
for summer editorial interns.
We’re looking for currently enrolled graduate and undergraduate students
available full-time, 5 days/week, from June-August. Interns must be able to
work in our offices in SoHo.
The primary qualification is a deep knowledge of geek culture: video
games, tech, gadgets, open source, fantasy literature — the whole thing.
Additional qualifications include
knowledge of:
* Blogging software and HTML
* Graphic design/video editing software
Our interns research stories, write for the site, receive bylines, and
participate in the operation of a major media property.
