Interns must be at least 18 years of age and able to commit to a minimum three-month internship. In general, interns work a minimum of one day per week and a maximum of three days. Internships are unpaid but are an excellent way to gain professional, hands-on experience.

Editorial Internship
Want to get your hands dirty in the editorial process of putting out an internationally circulated magazine and website? Venus Zine’s edit internship is best suited for candidates who are organized, eager to learn, and who hope to work as editors or writers. Design & Photography Internship
Do you know the difference between Helvetica and Futura? Can you color correct like no other? Interested in both print and Web design? If so, send your resume, cover letter, and samples of your work to Art Director Denise Gibson at denise [at] venuszine.com. Successful candidates must have strong design and typography skills. Must be able to work quickly, thrive under pressure, and take art direction well. Must be highly skilled at InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator. Web experience preferred.

Fashion Internship
Do you shamelessly stalk fashion blogs and magazines for runway looks and inspiration? Pride yourself on discovering the latest Etsy boutique or new designer? Venus Zine’s fashion internship is best suited for candidates looking to get hands-on experience in fashion editorial for both print and web. Fashion interns will assist on photo shoots and with sample returns and requests, compile credit information and look books, research, and organize PR contacts.
