Description:
Seeking FT managing editor w/ at least 4 years experience editing consumer
magazines, weeklies, newspapers or web sites. ME works closely with
editorial director, art director and staff to shape editorial content.
Ideal candidate stays current with (and will edit and assign stories about)
local cultural, health and travel trends, city news, education trends and
politics, but can also edit lifestyle topics including food, fashion,
shopping, etc. Must possess multitasking/organizational skills: editor
maintains editorial workflow, oversees Top Doctors, Most Influential
People, Best Neighborhoods, and manages interns. Sense of humor and snappy,
smart writing a must. Salary DOE.
