We are looking for an ultra-organized, stylish, articulate, and efficient junior-level freelance managing editor to oversee the production schedule and features department of BML Editions and babymamalove.com. This post is ideal for a highly creative ideas person and someone who wants to grow with our company whether as managing editor or into another editorial spot. You will create a resume of published clips and make a mark for yourself within the editorial, new media and publishing world.
This position will be working closely with our Creative Director on all aspects of BML’s development from editorial management to creative development for marketing and press materials. You do not have to be based in New York, as you will connect remotely.
Duties include: Creating an editorial production schedule and calendar for our online content and topics, managing new hires, budgets, research and writing Features among other duties.
