To be considered for Associate Editor, candidates must possess:
- Experience writing about beauty in a professional capacity
- Online publishing experience at a media site a must
- Exemplary writing style that is intelligent yet conversational
- Photo shoot production experience
- Photo research (tracking down images)
- Fact checking experience a plus
- Copy editing experience a plus
- BA degree
- 3-4 years’ journalism experience
Duties will include:
- Writing daily blog entries
- Tracking content metrics
- Pitching, researching beauty trends for coverage
- Copy editing
- Writing service-oriented beauty articles
- Other editorial duties as assigned by Senior Editor
This is a full-time position in our Santa Monica office. Sorry, no telecommuting.
