Preservation, the magazine of the National Trust for Historic Preservation, is seeking interns for the remainder of the fall of 2009 and/or spring 2010.
Duties include fact-checking 300-word online-only news stories; reporting and writing 300-word online news stories; suggesting content for the site; and posting to Facebook and/or Twitter. Interns must be able to work semi-independently, juggle several stories at a time, and meet deadlines. Depending on ability, there will be opportunities to write for the print publication. Interns can choose their own office hours. A one-month internship is also an option. We are located on Metro’s red line in Dupont Circle. Web address: www.preservationnation.org/magazine.
