DC magazine, a city luxury lifestyle magazine with a 50,000+ circulation,
covers Washington’s innovators and of-the-moment trends in fashion, beauty,
home design, dining, nightlife and the arts. We are looking for looking our
Winter/Spring semester interns, preferred availability starts January 4 and
goes through mid-May.
Duties primarily include fact-checking, research, coordinating calendar
listings, generating story ideas, party coverage and short front-of-book
reporting assignments. PREVIOUS WRITING EXPERIENCE REQUIRED. Interns are
expected to work 15-20 hours a week. Internship is UNPAID, but the
experience is invaluable. Former interns have gone onto everything from the
Style Network’s hit reality series “Running In Heels” to interning for Oscar
de la Renta.
