Angeleno magazine, a monthly L.A. lifestyle glossy, is now accepting
applications for its unpaid spring 2010 editorial internship semester,
which runs from the first week of January through the end of May. The
publication focuses on fashion, dining, nightlife, home design, beauty,
travel, Hollywood, and the arts.
Duties primarily include fact-checking, proofing, research, party
coverage, editing calendar listings, frequent blogging, and occasional
short magazine writing assignments. Interns, in short, spend the vast
majority of their time interacting with editorial copy, although some
standard office duties are incorporated into their days.
Applicants must commit to a two-day rotation (either Mon/Wed, Wed/Fri,
Mon/Fri or Tues/Thurs), from 9:30am to 6pm. The publication is located on Wilshire, three blocks west of La Brea.
