Abrams Media, the blog network behind Mediaite.com, seeks editorial interns for soon-to-launch geek culture blog for January to May 2010.
Interns must be available to work at least 20 hours a week in our offices in Lower Manhattan. Current university students and recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
The primary qualification for this job is an obsessive enthusiasm for multiple aspects of geek culture. If you are intimately familiar with the video gaming world, are knowledgeable about the history and current state of hacker/open-source culture, follow consumer tech news, and/or posses a deep knowledge of science fiction and fantasy media, then this is the internship for you.
