Rodale is currently accepting resumes for the 2010 Spring Internship Program. The Spring Internship Program typically runs from January through May. Internships are open to students eligible for academic credit from an accredited college or university. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic record, previous intern experience and an interest in the chosen area of the business. Internships are based in the Company’s Emmaus, PA and New York City locations.
Rodale is current seeking Fashion and Beauty interns for our magazines. The intern may attend market appointments, conduct research for stories and digital initiatives, assist with photo shoots, return clothing to brands, and support general administrative duties. This person may also play a key role in organizing the beauty closet as well as participate in the day-to-day operation of the beauty department. There may also be the opportunity to write.
A great attention to detail, ability to multitask and work independently is required, as well as an interest in the fashion/beauty and publishing industries. Preferred majors for this opportunity include Fashion, Communications, English, and Journalism. Good written and verbal communication, ability to multi-task, resourcefulness, organization and attention to detail are also required.
