RealBeauty.com, a newly launched site that is part of the Hearst Magazines Digital Media group, is seeking an intern to work with the site Director to expand its online beauty offerings.
The ideal candidate must possess a strong interest in beauty, wellness and online media as well as have the desire/ability to spot, track, and follow trends. You must be highly organized, efficient, detail-oriented and have excellent follow-through skills.
Some responsibilities include, but are not limited to: organize online look-books, maintain contact database, assist Associate Editor with research and fact-checking and site updates, investigate new brands and report on new trends, compile all credit and where to buy information on beauty items featured on the website, and contribute stories and blog ideas for the web on a weekly basis.
Basic HTML and Photoshop knowledge is a plus. There will be some writing associated with this position. Candidate must be able to work a minimum of two to three full days a week at Hearst Tower in NY, NY.
