Description: My Latino Voice – the fastest growing destination for
American Latino news and culture – and its sister site, WikiLatino, the
world’s first and free encyclopedia of American Latino culture and history
– are seeking editorial interns for writing, proofreading,
interviewing and editing for the websites. Knowledge of and interest in the
American Latino culture is a plus.
The My Latino Voice/WikiLatino internship offers the opportunity to build
a portfolio of clips and the skill sets and knowledge base necessary to be
prepared for a career in online publishing. Interns will also walk away
with a vast experience in networking, researching, designing, and laying
out articles, and amazing training by editors with many years
of both print and online publishing. School credit is offered where
applicable.
